For me it is agony and yet after a wonderful life, the result of many a difficult decision making crisis, surely I should know better.

I should have learned that it is not the decision, but how I live by that decision and I how let it shape my life.

People may not remember the origin of blue jeans, but no one can forget James Dean strutting across the big screen sporting jeans, white t shirt and black leather jacket in Rebel Without a Cause.  Other heartthrobs such as Marlon Brando and Elvis Presley sporting those sexy denims helped spawn jeans' popularity in the 1950's. After generations of being considered sturdy work clothes worn by factory workers and miners, they became part of the off-duty American wardrobe.  Considered controversial and rebellious, some establishments banned them.

March 20th marks the official start of spring, and that means many of us will soon begin the process of spring cleaning. During spring cleaning this year, try not only organizing your home, but also getting your finances in order. Here are some tips to get started:

When we were kids, finding women in the history books was a tough job. Not many were there to find. Now we've had a string of female Secretaries of State, women astronauts, and two women on the ballot for Vice President of a major political party. Women are finding their way into the history books, and tracking the progress is the National Women's History Project (www.nwhp.org).

In high school and college I turned in my papers on time. I counseled families with developmentally delayed children on how to 'catch up,' worked as an event planner for years hitting dates on the calendar with an assassin's accuracy, and balanced my work in addition to the schedules of two teenagers like a Swiss Army overseeing watch assembly.
